Life Lesson (Job 27:1)

To be fully blessed, love unconditionally and honor authority.

Love unconditionally

  1. Love God unconditionally (God may do something you don't agree with)

  2. Love people unconditionally

    1. your spouse

    2. you family

    3. your spiritual family (something will happen that tests your commitment to the
      fellowship with your spiritual family)

Life Lesson (Job 27:1)

There are words that are paired in the Bible (like bluetooth) like grace and peace. Like Mercy and Truth. Honor is tied to riches in the Bible. Honor and riches appear 14 times together in scripture. If we do not honor God, parents, spouse, spiritual leader, your employer and government leaders it will hurt personally any wealth you may have.

Life Lesson (Job 27:1)

God gives many godly people, not all, blessings and wealth. Especially compared to other countries. He blessed Job way beyond what his needs were because Job gave and God could trust Job.

Life Lesson (Job 27:1)

God trusted Job with all of that sorrow, suffering and heartache, saying 'Job will never, will never, curse God'.

Life Lesson (Job 27:1)

If you are tempted to be envious of others ask what's that person doing, or not doing, to be in a position of blessing like that.

Life Lesson (Job 27:1)

When you look after the needs of others, God is committed to looking after you.

Life Lesson (Job 27:5)

Trust God with people.

Trust God with your family.

Trust God with your church family.

Life Lesson (Job 28:28)

Stars shine the brightest when it is the darkest.

10 So your barns will be filled with plenty,
And your vats will overflow with new wine.

"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you."

1 Tim 5:17 NKJV
Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.
1 Tim 5:17 NLT
Elders who do their work well should be respected and paid well, especially those who work hard at both preaching and teaching.
Heb 13:17 NLT
Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this with joy and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be for your benefit.
Col 3:22-25 NKJV
22 Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God. 23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. 25 But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.
Col 3:22-25 NLT
22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything you do. Try to please them all the time, not just when they are watching you. Serve them sincerely because of your reverent fear of the Lord. 23 Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. 24 Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ. 25 But if you do what is wrong, you will be paid back for the wrong you have done. For God has no favorites.
Rom 13:1-7 NKJV
1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. 4 For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. 5 Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience' sake. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God's ministers attending continually to this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
Deut 8:18 NKJV
"And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day."
Prov 19:17 NLT
If you help the poor, you are lending to the Lord--
and he will repay you!
Prov 19:17 CJB
He who is kind to the poor is lending to Adonai;
and he will repay him for his good deed.
Prov 10:12 NKJV
Hatred stirs up strife,
But love covers all sins.
Prov 10:12 NLT
Hatred stirs up quarrels,
but love makes up for all offenses.
Prov 8:32-36 NKJV
32 "Now therefore, listen to me, my children,
For blessed are those who keep my ways.
33 Hear instruction and be wise,
And do not disdain it.
34 Blessed is the man who listens to me,
Watching daily at my gates,
Waiting at the posts of my doors.
35 For whoever finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the Lord;
36 But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul;
All those who hate me love death."
Heb 10:21-25 NKJV
21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Dan 12:1-4 NKJV
1 "At that time Michael shall stand up,
The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people;
And there shall be a time of trouble,
Such as never was since there was a nation,
Even to that time.
And at that time your people shall be delivered,
Everyone who is found written in the book.
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
Some to everlasting life,
Some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 Those who are wise shall shine
Like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever and ever.
4 "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."
